This training is for yoga instructors who are looking to expand their knowledge of restorative yoga in order to effectively and confidently offer restorative yoga in group classes or private clients and for yoga students simply interested in learning more about the practice to enhance their experience. Current Registered Yoga Instructors may earn 15 CEU's

In this training, you will learn the in's and out's of a restorative practice and gain the skills needed to confidently sequence and teach your own restorative yoga class.

Topics Included:


  • What is Restorative Yoga, and why is it beneficial addition to our practice.

  • What is the difference between restorative and yin?

  • What are props, and how to we properly use them in each yoga pose.

  • What are the benefits and potential contraindications of each pose.

  • How to use effective verbal cues to guide a soothing practice

  • How to teach restorative yoga online

  • How to incorporate breath work, meditation, and guided visualizations in a class.

  • How to prepare for classes, build proper sequences, and set the stage for a successful class.

  • How to properly make adjustments and use hands-on assists in order to serve all.


This training will allow you to experience restorative yoga through guided classes, and the opportunity to design and deliver your own restorative yoga class.
